Levels of Care at CooperRiis
At CooperRiis, we combine trusted clinical therapies and integrative health and wellness practices with purposeful work and service to community to treat the whole person. We believe recovery from mental illness is possible and best achieved when residents are engaged and motivated by their own hopes and dreams for a healthy and meaningful life.
We offer residential care, Level A, in a supportive and structured environment on two campuses — “The Farm,” a 94-acre working farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina and in Asheville “85Z,” our city campus in the heart of of the city. Each resident receives personalized cared from an integrative recovery team of clinicians and professionals.
When residents successfully complete our residential program, our transitional living program helps them to continue to build life and social skills, pursue new educational and vocational opportunities, and move toward the goal of independence. The program provides two levels of care: Level B, with residents living in CooperRiis houses along with live-in staff; and Level C, with residents living in their own housing with access to CooperRiis supports.
