Before joining CooperRiis, Emily was the Director of Admissions at an adult residential, mental health primary, dual diagnosis facility in Palo Alto, CA. She has worked as an adult/child/adolescent/family therapist in community mental health settings, including schools, clinics, home-based services, and foster care. She is motivated by helping people navigate the healthcare system and has experience linking people to residential programs throughout the U.S.
Emily is passionate about holistic care and was Program Coordinator for the Chopra Center for Wellbeing “Perfect Health” program, where guests from all over the world come weekly to meet with integrative doctors, receive daily Ayurvedic treatments, and study yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda.
Emily earned her Master of Science in Management Degree from Case Western Reserve University, an M.A. in Clinical Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology.
