Amy has been employed by CooperRiis since 2011, initially working part time with the residential team and in the role of Recovery Coordinator for six years prior to joining the Admissions Team as Clinical Admissions Coordinator.
Her past experience includes work in community mental health, partial hospitalization, school, and medical hospital settings.
Amy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UNC-Asheville and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
A native of the Chicago area, she and her family moved to the small town of Tryon, N.C., when she was a high school student and remained in the area. She is married with two young adult children. Amy loves living in the mountains and being able to take it their beauty, peace, and recreational opportunities.
