Zelda Thaker, BA
“Recovery is an essential factor in my life, and I strive to make the process of receiving treatment for others as painless and stress-free as possible. I believe that any person who wants to grow and bloom deserves a safe space to do so.“
Before joining the CooperRiis Admissions Team, Zelda worked at Admissions for Outward Bound USA, helping students explore the wilderness and themselves and as a wilderness guide at a residential treatment facility that utilizes a 12-step modality along with nature to serve clients with dual-diagnoses.
In her spare time, Zelda is learning oil painting through Bob Ross tutorials and enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons and rock climbing.
Zelda received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and minored in Vocal Performance and Audio Recording. She has also studied Clinical Counseling and Adventure Education at Prescott College in Arizona.
