Tyler Mudd, MRC, LCMHCA, CRC

Vocational Counselor/Therapist

I have a lifelong passion for mental wellness, and people have suggested I become a therapist since childhood. Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in the mental health field, which has allowed me to apply my education, experience, talents, and teamwork to help our residents heal and grow. If I weren’t working as a therapist, I would still be engaged in similar activities.

Tyler serves as the Coordinator and Vocational Therapist, assisting residents with their work, volunteer activities, and educational pursuits. He has several years of experience at a high-acuity state psychiatric hospital in various roles, including Mental Health Associate (psych tech) and transportation driver. He has also worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, a mobile crisis responder, and a PHP therapist.

Tyler holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Spalding University in Kentucky and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky, a Top Ten Program. He is currently an associate-level licensed therapist and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and will soon be fully licensed.

The most influential factors in my education were the countless individuals who shared their stories, experiences, struggles, triumphs, strengths, weaknesses, fears, and hopes with me.

The second love of his life is an English Mastiff named BoJack; his wife, of course, is first.
