Dr. Elms attended medical school at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Englewood, Colorado.
He then completed his general psychiatry residency training at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado, where he worked as a Chief Resident at the Denver Veteran’s Affairs Hospital. After finishing residency, he moved to Asheville to complete an Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at MAHEC.
“I enjoy listening to music and podcasts, cycling, running, and playing board games and PC games. I’ve also been known to take the occasional midday nap.”
