Lindsey Reinhardt, Assistant Clinical Director

MA, LCMHC, NCC, LCASA

My decision to join CooperRiis was deliberate and thoughtful. I am committed to being part of an environment that values each person not as a diagnosis, but as a unique individual with their own human lived experience

Humor and honesty are at the heart of my work. These values shape how I approach therapy, group work, and supervision. I truly love what I do—whether I’m serving as a therapist, peer, supervisor, or simply connecting with the many unique individuals I encounter. I find deep meaning in both caring for others and allowing myself to be cared for in return.

Lindsey’s interest in mental health recovery emerges from lived experience, witnessing a system that sets people up for failure has directly affected her throughout her life.

With support, she learned to navigate the system and was able to recover. There’s something truly powerful about having someone look at you and say, “same” or “me too.” If you’ve experienced it, you know how meaningful that connection is. We all deserve support—it’s fundamental to our biology.

Lindsey’s background is primarily in working with adults who struggle with substance abuse and trauma, though she has worked with all ages in various levels of care, from adolescent school therapy to geriatric psychiatry. In her own words, an eclectic experience.

Lindsey earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Gender and Social Issues from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina, and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montreat College in Montreat, North Carolina.

Lindsey is also a singer and lover of country and blues.
