Dana LaRue, MSW, LCSWA

Recovery Coordinator

“I am grateful to work in a community-minded organization that honors the mind-body connection of a balanced diet, exercise, and clinical support for a positive outcome on the persons’ mental health.”

Since receiving her MSW Degree, Dana worked at two other organizations. She was also a medical social worker in a hospital and trained and certified potential and current foster parents, a non-profit foster care licensing organization.

Dana earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Health and Exercise Science at Pfeiffer University in North Carolina and received her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Western Carolina University, NC.

She’s an outdoors person and enjoys spending her weekends and free time in the beautiful woods of Western North Carolina, running, hiking, camping, and biking.
