Amy is a role model for our Asheville Community Program residents and staff. As a Senior Recovery Coach, she instills leadership, helping the individual maintain their hope, teaching new skills, coaching, and she does it with respect and levity.
Amy’s work experience includes Art Education, Community Representative for Artists with Disabilities, Being a Residential Manager with Autism Society of North Carolina.
Being a Girl Scout camper and a subsequent Girl Scout Counselor brings her fond memories and instilled in her the importance of being part of a community, a fondness she now shares with our residents.
Amy graduated from SUNY (State University of New York) New Paltz, NY, CUM LAUDE with a degree in Art Education for K-12 grades.
