Pat graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation and a Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Recreation from Teachers College, Columbia University. She earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health, MMH, at Johns Hopkins University Medical School.

Pat is a young and active 94-year-old, a competitive swimmer who wins medals in every competition. She’s an active pickleball and bocce player who does line and square dancing and plays percussion in the Rutherford Symphony and Spartanburg Community Bands. 

She has six grandchildren, ages 14-21, who bring her great joy.
