Cade Ingle, MS, LCMHCA

Integrative Therapist

CooperRiis is an environment where both staff and residents are supported and cared for, helping everyone become the best version of themselves. This support and care enable me to be as effective as possible in building healing therapeutic relationships and encouraging the growth of residents in purpose, connection, and personal wellness.

Cade began his counseling journey in 2016 by volunteering on a crisis hotline in Johnson County, Iowa, where he provided support through the Youth National Crisis Hotline. This effort assisted individuals of all ages and backgrounds in the eastern part of Iowa, as well as youth in crisis nationwide, via phone calls and text messages. The most common supports requested were for suicidality, self-harm, anxiety, drug relapse avoidance, domestic and relational abuse, loneliness, and depression.

As part of his Master’s internship, he worked with elementary school through high school students, including a semester with at-risk students with ADHD, ASD, LD, and comorbidities at a North Carolina adventure-based boarding school. Upon graduation, he worked as a counselor with neurodivergent and at-risk youth at an adventure-based boarding school.

Cade graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Science, with a focus on Consumer Psychology, and spent seven years in the advertising field. His lifelong interest in psychology, combined with his personal experiences witnessing family and friends struggle with mental health issues, and a personal curiosity about his mental wellness journey, inspired him to pursue a Master of Science in School Counseling from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He completed the coursework requirements for his clinical mental health care licensure at Western Carolina University,

  • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate 2024
  • National Certified Counselor 2023
  • Licensed School Counselor – North Carolina 2021
  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) 2016
  • Crisis Intervention Training, Community Crisis Services 2016

Cade grew up on a farm in Runnells, Iowa, near the capital city of Des Moines. Outdoors and backpacing activities are his calling. With his partner, Annie, they welcomed a baby girl in February  2023. Together, they recently completed 100 miles on the Camino Portugal trail in Spain. Cade is a big sports fan and, as time allows, he gets in a round of golf when not drawing or painting.
