More than a fundraising event, The Bountiful Hope Benefit marks a defining moment in CooperRiis’ history. We will be celebrating the culmination of our Capital Campaign to establish a Permanent Endowment that will sustain our mission for generations to come.
For more than 20 years, CooperRiis has provided compassionate, community based mental health care, serving over 2,500 individuals living with serious mental illness. This legacy of care and the lives changed along the way has inspired the creation of an endowment designed to provide dependable annual revenue ensuring long‑term stability and access to care.
The impact of this endowment is both immediate and enduring. It will allow CooperRiis to reach and serve more people in need of mental health care, sustain and grow our robust scholarship program, and continue meaningful program improvements grounded in best practices for holistic healing. Just as critically, it will support our ability to attract and retain exceptional staff, ensuring continuity of care and a strong, mission‑driven workforce.

Sponsorship contributions to The Bountiful Hope Benefit will first and foremost support the costs of producing a high‑quality, meaningful event that brings our community together in celebration. Net proceeds from sponsorships, after event expenses, will be directed to CooperRiis’ Capital Campaign for a Permanent Endowment, strengthening long‑term financial sustainability and ensuring lasting access to mental health care.
Through this structure, sponsors play a dual role: helping to underwrite an inspiring community gathering while also investing in an enduring source of support.
Residential and transitional services programming includes comprehensive treatment through individual psychiatry and psychotherapy, case management, medication management, evidenced-based group interventions, and proven skill-building programs. CooperRiis’ wellness component includes farm-to-table meals that are anti-inflammatory and proven to support good mental health, as well as fitness programming tailored to each individual.
Born from a vision to fill a critical gap in mental health care, CooperRiis has been a sanctuary for over 2,200 individuals since 2003. Our founders, Lisbeth Riis Cooper and Don Cooper, created and built a community where healing is nurtured, hope is found, and lives are transformed.
