Rich believes that collaboration and working together toward meaningful goals are essential to the recovery process and help individuals recognize that lasting recovery is possible. His passion for becoming a therapist began in grade school, driven by a desire to help others navigate life’s challenges and develop effective coping strategies.
Rich grew up just north of Charlotte, North Carolina. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. In 2021, he earned his Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.
Rich brings experience working on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team and serving as a team leader for a Community Support Team. His experience has strengthened his ability to provide collaborative, community-based care and support individuals in achieving their recovery goals.
