Since joining CooperRiis, I’ve found a community of people I can truly walk through life with. It’s more than a place to work—it’s a place of healing, compassion, and teamwork. I value that residents’ wishes are a top priority and that they have the driver’s seat in their recovery.
At first, Danielle hesitated to join CooperRiis. She had previously worked exclusively with children and thrived in that setting, but CooperRiis opened her eyes to how much the mental health field needs a place like this—where people aren’t valued for their productivity or progress, but simply for who they are.
Danielle holds a BS in Experimental Psychology with a minor in Child Advocacy Studies from the University of South Carolina Upstate and an Associate Degree in Pre-Health Sciences from Spartanburg Community College, South Carolina. She also earned an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) certificate for working with children diagnosed with autism.
I am a self-proclaimed book nerd who loves spending my free time reading, playing with my daughter, or working on cross-stitch projects. My husband and I also enjoy going to concerts and watching scary movies together.
