Moque is an Integrative Therapist. Her previous position held was that of a Recovery Coordinator for the CooperRiis at Asheville Program. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2010, focusing on policy and advocacy. She started her social work career as a political and union organizer, supporting low-income housing initiatives. Her experience as an advocate shaped her understanding of how individuals can affect change in systems and their own lives. It was this foundational belief that drew Moque to CooperRiis in 2017, where she is pursuing her goal to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She centers her practice on residents’ strength and resiliency in her care and supports their ability to foster their positive outcomes.
She lives in Asheville with her husband Mike, and their son, Ezra.
