Working at CooperRiis is meaningful to me because each person’s recovery journey is unique. It allows me to support individuals on their recovery journey by creating a space where they feel heard, valued, and understood, and by helping them develop the skills, confidence, and hope needed to build a brighter future.
Lina has worked as a primary therapist, school behaviorist, substance use counselor, residential counselor, and case manager, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide client-centered, recovery-focused care and support skill development in clinical and residential settings.
Lina earned her Master of Social Work from Appalachian State University in 2023. She is currently pursuing full licensure in counseling and addiction recovery.
Outside of work, Lina enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, whether walking, exploring nature, or staying active. She also enjoys reading and creative hobbies such as crafts, which help her relax and recharge.
