April is no stranger to CooperRiis; she worked in various direct care positions from 2014 – 2018.
Her most recent clinical experience has been in community mental health and substance abuse treatment with adults with severe and persistent mental health challenges and working with adolescent girls with significant trauma. 

April earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2014 and her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University, 2020.

In her time off, she enjoys hiking with her dog, baking, and painting.
