Residential Manager

“I value the opportunity to play a part in creating an inclusive community experience for the CooperRiis residents while I work with them on creating schedules that incorporate their interests and hobbies, leading to healthy community socialization and good coping skills.”

Alex worked for two years in an in-patient hospital psychiatric unit as a Behavioral Health Technician and worked in residential substance abuse treatment for teenagers as a Mentor before joining CooperRiis in 2020.

Alex graduated from Western Carolina University in 2018 with a B.S. in Sociology. He is currently studying at Western Carolina University for his Master of Social Work Degree.

He teaches himself to play acoustic guitar and bass guitar in his free time, between school and work and music; he is rather busy.
