Asheville Community Program
A Transitional Living Program Located in Western North Carolina
Announcing New Direct Admission
CooperRiis is pleased to announce the ability to directly admit clients into our transitional living program in Asheville.
Historically, this level of care has only been available to Residents of our Farm and/ or CooperRiis at Asheville Residential Treatment Programs. However, we recognize that many clients stepping down from similar levels of care are seeking programs like ours; programs that are holistic, recovery-oriented, person-centered, and mission driven.
Therefore clients seeking transitional living options who are coming from residential treatment centers and meet our admissions criteria, can reach out to our admissions team to discuss our program as a next step in their recovery journey.

Asheville Community Program Description
The Asheville Community Program fosters independent living skills, supported by daytime and overnight staff. Residents live in a beautifully appointed CooperRiis house and engage in the larger community.

The team supports life and work goals, social activities, meal planning, budgeting, and transportation. Residents also receive weekly individual psychotherapy, case management, psychiatry, and college or job support through work with our employment specialist. Medications are self-administered at this level of care.
This program is open to Residents of CooperRiis’ residential treatment programs, and clients coming from similar levels of care who meet admissions criteria.
