Amy has worked for CooperRiis for over ten years, initially as part of the Residential Team, and next as a dedicated Recovery Coordinator for six years. In 2019 Amy was promoted to her current position as Senior Admissions Coordinator. Her past experience includes work in community mental health, partial hospitalization, school, and medical hospital settings.
Amy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UNC-Asheville and her Master’s of Social Work from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
A native of the Chicago area, she and her family moved to the small town of Tryon, N.C., when she was a high school student and remained in the area. Amy is a loving parent of two young adult children. They love living in the mountains and taking it the beauty, peace, and recreational opportunities in  Western North Carolina.
