The Life Skills Program Under the guidance of the Life Skills Program Staff, residents have the opportunity to explore a variety of activities that are meaningful and necessary to the CooperRiis community. Individuals are guided towards roles that allow them to use their past experiences or gain new skills and training while enhancing their interpersonal and leadership talents, as well as improving their judgment and maturity levels. We also offer tutoring to residents that have not completed their high school education due to illness so they may graduate or obtain their GED. As both a therapeutic community and as an actual community, the CooperRiis staff is integral to our success. In addition to their individual qualifications, they bring experience and desire as coaches, teachers, advisors and guides. In all, over 60 staff serve our residents at CooperRiis and the CooperRiis Graduate Program, which includes full and part time volunteers. The team will continue to grow as the Graduate Program expands. Kitchen & Bakery |
