Laura Steinke, RN, BSN
Nurse

Laura is one of our three nurses and has not only great nursing skills but also a wonderful sense of humor and is liked by all. For a total of 11 years she worked as a cardiac nurse, ICU nurse and psych nurse, in other words, she is very skilled. Laura is also a classical musician and may be heard playing the french horn with the Asheville Symphony, Asheville, NC and with a professional brass quintet when not at CooperRiis or on her horse farm near Tryon. 

Laura believes in community and shares her horse farm with her husband, her parents, five horses, five dogs, eight cats, and five chickens.  She loves to garden, scuba dive and surprise, surprise… horseback riding!

Originally from Atlanta, GA Laura, earned a BSN in nursing from The University of North Florida, Jacksonville, Fl.
