Matt Snyder, MA, MS, BS
Family Liaison/Recovery Coordinator

Matt recently returned to North Carolina from Boulder, Colorado to begin work as a Family Liaison and Educator here at CooperRiis.  A lifelong lover of the outdoors, an avid backpacker, rockclimber and naturalist, he is excited to return to what he describes as the "lushness" of the western North Carolina Mountains.  He is also excited to be living closer to his family, who call Asheville home.  He is deeply interested in healing communities and the power of relationship in working with mental illness and hopes to use his time here at CooperRiis to augment his training as a psychotherapist.

Matt earned his BS in Chemistry at Notre Dame, his MS in Earth and Atmospheric Chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology, and most recently a MA in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa in Boulder, CO.
