Marlena Warren
Admissions Coordinator and Assistant to the Executive Director

When you call to inquire about CooperRiis and our admissions procedures, you could not be in better hands than those of Marlena’s.  Her friendly and caring demeanor will make you feel totally at ease as she efficiently guides you through the admissions procedures and lends her assistance with the paperwork, room assignments but most importantly, makes family members regain hope and feel at ease.

Marlena is also the key person in planning and organizing our twice a year, Family Education Weekend and the initiator and publisher of our Family Ties Newsletter.

As the executive assistant to the principal at Tryon Elementary School, prior to joining CooperRiis, Marlena gained valuable experience in multitasking!  She graduated Valedictorian from Southside High School in Greenville, South Carolina.

A free-lance graphic designer, she earned a PICA Award for Design in 2001.  She is also amazing at paper crafts and readily lends graphic arts support to our residents and staff.

She is married to Tom Warren, our Chief Financial Officer, and they reside in Columbus, NC with their two sons.
